Found a new calorie calculator online. The computer calculated. I need to reduce my intake to 1759 cal or 1421 (without exercise) in order to lose weight. I recalculated. I know better than to starve myself but alas, it’s 5 p.m. and my calorie count of the day is 535. My head aches and I feel a little light-headed. So, I am going to eat chicken for dinner. 400 calories worth. I am going to drink myself into a Coke Zero oblivion and you, dear reader, can’t stop me.
Rating: Success (At least I’m not binging and purging)

Coke Zero might be hurting your diet. The sweet taste tells your body that food is abundant (your tongue isn’t sophisticated to know there’s no calories), which tells your stomach to be hungry. We still operate on caveman software, and cavemen needed to be hungry when food was around otherwise they wouldn’t eat enough and would starve when food becomes scarce.
So, drinking Coke Zero will probably make you hungrier, and thus dieting is harder. Switch to water.

I agree with bl1y. Diet coke/pepsi or coke zero throws off your taste buds and hence your diet. 935 calories is not enought! Eat more than that, just make it good for you.

I disagree with all of the above and think you should switch to regular coke and the sweat of a tall man.

Bryan – does have a good point!
But i will concur that once I quit drinking diet sodas I dropped like 10 pounds. Then I gained it back when I drank too much regular soda. But now with only 1 soda a day and calculated into calories I seem to be doing better 🙂
