My God. The joy of ringtones. I stalk them. I’m constantly searching for the ultimate ringtones. I buy them, I have more than I can use, and then am at a loss. I mean, if I apply a ringtone to a person, then the song gets affiliated with them and their deeds. And what if they piss me off or disappoint me? A perfectly good song, wasted for all time.
Only now, a year later, can I stand to hear “4 Minutes” by Madonna and JT. But I still think of him, and if I happen to be in a sorry mood, well…the song is ruined all over again.
Understand?
I’ve expounded on the significance of ringtones before. https://medicatedlady.wordpress.com/2008/10/14/keep-me-warm-oh-sweet-ringtones/

I do understand – well, I understand the excitement of a really unique ringtone. But I, alas, have one of those “pay-as-you-go” cells and it won’t allow me to change it from “Oh say can you see” to something hip and cool.
At least my songs don’t get tangled up with crank calls, crabby clients, or unwanted conversation.
